Hat tip to Instapundit on this one. Is the Anglosphere Challenge essentially about civil liberties and governmental forebearance, or about resilient habits of social organization that come back from challenges revitalized and repeatedly survive some serious circumstantial pruning in liberty? I'm not sure the 21st century Copperheads are going to give us a practical answer.
