Muslim language dhimmitude

Islam is weak and in its death throes. It is going caterwauling and shrieking down the tubes – in English.

The Muslims have prostrated themselves to the Anglosphere. They submit daily to the knowledge that they cannot get anyone to pay attention to their hysteria unless they write their posters and shout their rants in the lingua franca of the intelligent sector of the world - English. “Wait for the real holocaust” is on a sign carried by a burqa-clad blob in London. Burqa-clad blobs hold up posters in Yemen reading “Don’t Buy Danish Products”; in Saudi Arabia to Nigeria supermarkets have signs in their windows, in English, informing other Muslims that they don’t carry Danish products. “Down with Denmark” they shriek – not in Arabic or Danish, but in the king of languages: English. They threaten the destruction of the enlightened West on the internet – in English. Complete submission to the English language. And we did it without a single kidnap or cutting off a single head!

Bow down and submit to our wonderful language, punks. English akbar!! And I want to see that forehead touching the tiles, Mohammed!

Carry on Abasing!

Yeah but it cuts both ways. It appears that Arafat said one thing in English and then the complete opposite in Arabic.
Further, how come no Anglopsheric publisher wants to translate and sell Luxemburg's book on the Koran? Even if his conclusions are mistaken or vindicated, shouldn't it be available for us to debate and stimulate further research?
I'm in favour of encouraging everyone,s that interested to learn the other languages, 'cause that way we'll hold them to account when their jaws drop when they discover we know their languages as well as ours
I agree with you that Islam is weak but not due to linguistic reasons.

Xavier, you certainly have an inarguable point when you say we should have the ability to understand when they're talking out of both sides of their mouths.

Yes, Islam is weak and that cannot be ascribed to the universality of English, but that they have to shout their slogans and foam at the mouth in their own countries in English is an acknowledgement that the world is dismissive of them.

About Arafat:

The fact that he even had to engage in the doublespeak game shows exactly how weak he was. He could sound as confrontational and as defiant as is humanly possible to his own people, but essentially cowered in fear when addressing the West. Although no one would ever admit it, he knew and we knew that when addressing us, he was anything but an equal. He was a vassal addressing his lord.

He was an evil little man, but he was a WEAK, evil little man. Our failure to take advantage of his weakness (at least not until the very end, when we started ignoring him)did not make him powerful. In fact, his failure to either confront us in English, or to spread a message of peace in Arabic, shows exactly how weak he was. He knew english was the arena in which all great issues were debated, and ceded that arena to us.

Just because we were easily manipulated does not mean he wasn't a weak little worm. And now he's wormfood.

So we should say to them "So Long, And Thanks For All The Numerals."

AVI - That's funny!

(Although I have a feeling that the numerals, as with zero itself) were actually Indian constructs and passed through the desert on the way to Europe and Britain, where we put them to good use.

"So Long, And Thanks For All The Numerals."

Agree w/ above post re: origins of said numerals, as well.

I never thought about it like that before.

You should also add that whilst they may get upset and riot now and again, most Muslim youths would actually prefer to live in the Great Satan and make lots of money.

Now, if we could only export real capitalism to the Middle East, all our problems would be solved.

"So long and thanks for all the numerals"?

Why are you bidding farewell to the Hindus in a post dealing with Islamofascism?

Yup, the so-called Arabic numerals came out of India, which the Arabs transported to the West. In Arabic, they are named "hindu way of counting" or some such.

Thank you Atanu Dey. I figured, so to speak, that as the Hindus had invented zero, they pretty much had a lock on numerals, too.
